The council plans to purchase 100 properties, which are either already complete, under construction or in the planning stages as part of the Local Housing Strategy 2019-2030 to respond to the housing shortage in this Algarve municipality.
The houses, of types T1, T2 and T3, will be purchased under the protocol signed with the Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU), within the scope of the 1st Right Program and the Recovery and Resilience Programme (PRR).
“In the case of dwellings that are in the construction or design phase, the construction process must be suitable and ensure the good performance of the homes, their thermal and environmental comfort, energy and water efficiency“, said the municipality led by mayor Vítor Aleixo.
This is the fifth consultation on the real estate market that the Loulé municipality has carried out with the aim of “promoting 1,400 housing solutions by 2030”, says the municipality.
