Lisbon: It will be feeling slightly cooler over the weekend in the capital with periods of cloud cover expected on both and highs of 28 degrees on Saturday and 26 degrees on Sunday. On Monday clear skies are forecast with highs of 30 degrees. It will be feeling warmer still on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The north: There will be a chance of rain on Saturday however it will still feel warm with highs of 27 degrees. On Sunday temperatures are to start to rise again with highs of 31 degrees. Clear skies are expected on Monday with highs of 33 degrees and it will be feeling even hotter on Tuesday with highs of 35 degrees.
The centre: The clear skies and high temperatures are to continue over the weekend with highs of 32 degrees on Saturday and 35 degrees on Sunday. The temperatures are to rise even higher on Monday and Tuesday to maximums of 38 degrees. Wednesday is forecast to be the peak in the temperatures at 39 degrees.
The south: A very hot weekend is forecast with clear skies and temperatures to hit highs of 36 degrees on Saturday and 35 degrees on Sunday. Some intermittent cloud cover is expected from Tuesday, however, this will not reduce the temperatures which are to soar to highs of 36 degrees on Wednesday.
Madeira: The weather is to remain stable over the weekend with intermittent cloud cover and daily highs of 29 degrees over the weekend, dropping down only to 23 degrees at night. Cloud cover is to increase on Monday but it will still be warm with highs of 27 degrees.
The Azores: There will be a chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday however it will be feeling warm with highs of 26 degrees and lows of 19 degrees. The clouds and rain are set to stick around the following week when temperatures are to remain stable.
