“This is the third consecutive year that Iberia has offered this route,” reads the statement sent by the airline, which reveals Iberia’s new features for the next summer season.

In addition to Ponta Delgada, Iberia will also resume operations to Faro and Funchal, both with five flights per week, in an offer that is also complemented with flights to Lisbon, with the airline planning to operate up to 36 weekly frequencies, and to Porto, which will have up to 28 weekly frequencies.

Iberia's operations to Ponta Delgada, Faro and Funchal are part of Iberia's new services for summer 2025 in Europe.

In Europe, Iberia will focus “growth on its core markets,” specifically France and Italy, with the airline announcing that “Paris will have four additional weekly frequencies this summer,” so Iberia will provide “up to eleven direct flights per day.”
