“Coimbra will host the biggest event dedicated to happiness in Portugal, with a view to marking the International Day of Happiness with innovation, differentiation and elevation. It is a pioneering and multidisciplinary event whose motto is ‘Happiness is the way’”, highlighted the executive director of GoldenSkill, Diogo Coelho.
The first edition of the Portugal Happiness Summit 2025 will take place between March 20th and 23rd, on two stages in the city of Coimbra: Rui de Alarcão Auditorium of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education of the University of Coimbra and Seminário Maior de Coimbra.
The event, which aims to promote an informed and accessible space for discussion, reflection and debate on the importance and meaning of happiness in different areas of life, proposes “a rich, diverse and packed program” with conferences, lectures, workshops and workshops.
“We intend to attract hundreds of participants, including businesspeople, entrepreneurs, policymakers, association leaders, members of the academic and scientific community, representatives of the region’s municipalities, researchers, students and the general public. Registration for the event is open and we hope to reach 200 paid entries,” he said.
According to Diogo Coelho, the general pass for the four days costs 30 euros, however, students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education at the University of Coimbra will have free access to the event.
The opening session will take place on the morning of March 20th at the Rui de Alarcão Auditorium of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education, while the remaining days will be held at the Coimbra Major Seminary.
The event, “which aims to be for all ages”, also includes a program aimed at children and families, with ‘workshops’, with free entry.
The Portugal Happiness Summit 2025 is promoted by the company GoldenSkill, with support from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education of the University of Coimbra and the Major Seminary of Coimbra.
