Taylor’s holds one of the most extensive reserves of cask-aged Port of any producer and takes great pride in preserving a remarkable collection of Single Harvest Ports. These exceptional wines, drawn from a single year’s harvest, mature to full perfection in seasoned oak casks and bear the year of their vintage on the label.

Although this exclusive series began with the 1964 harvest, Taylor’s only releases Single Harvest Ports in years where the ports demonstrate exceptional quality. The Taylor’s Single Harvest 1975 continues this tradition and complements the Golden Age 50 Years Old Tawny, launched in 2022, offering wine enthusiasts another outstanding Port with half a century of ageing.

Adrian Bridge, Managing Director of Taylor’s, remarks: “Each release in our Single Harvest collection is an opportunity to reflect on significant moments in history and to celebrate the years they represent. 1975 was a year of transformation and change across the world. With this limited edition, we present the ideal wine for marking 50th anniversary celebrations worldwide, offering a refined testament to the passage of time and Taylor’s mastery of cask ageing.”

David Guimaraens, Taylor’s Head Winemaker and Master Blender, adds: “Taylor’s Single Harvest Ports are living testaments to the passing of time and the artistry of cask ageing. The 1975 reveals remarkable depth and sophistication, the result of five decades of slow and meticulous maturation.”

The Taylor’s Single Harvest 1975 will be available in limited quantities from leading wine merchants and specialist retailers from April, reaffirming Taylor’s commitment to bringing rare and exceptional quality Ports to the market.
