Without providing any information about the size of the fire, nor if there was a need to evacuate the building or if there were any injuries to be registered, a source of the Regiment of Firefighters (RSB ), told Lusa that, at 12:50 pm, that RSB operatives were on site fighting the fire, with “nine Regiment vehicles, with 30 elements”.

The fire broke out at CUF Descobertas Hospital and the alert occurred at 12:20 pm, according to the RSB, which plans to provide more information.
