Praia da Falesia, located in Olhos de Agua, Portugal, took the sixth spot in the list and was one of only two European beaches to make the cut.
One TripAdvisor reviewer wrote of the beach: “Gorgeous red sand cliffs lead to the green-blue ocean and a white sand beach that seemingly stretches forever.”
The beach that took the top spot was Baia do Sancho - Fernando de Noronha, Brazil followed by Eagle Beach – Aruba with Cable Beach - Broome, Western Australia taking third position.
sigh....such cheap, gratitous ,nonesensical marketing.

Why are you still around here when they hate the country ? Isn't the UK beaches and rivers full of sewage ? And when I live their your own people cant even take with them the rubbish leaving everything behind in the beaches and countryside and even in the parks . Why you why you dont go swimming in the UK beaches ? Afraid of getting dirty maybe that's you need .

Don't understand why some is so critical about Portugals wonderful beaches, especially Algarve. I've been here two years now and love it all....
