Belgian group VGP has started the construction of a mega logistics platform in Montijo, entitled VGP Park Montijo. The work must be completed within one year. This is the group's third project in Portugal, according to ECO.
“VGP Park Montijo is another important step towards the growth of our operation in Portugal, particularly in the Lisbon area. We started this work and already have our first tenant and we are convinced that we will soon lease the remaining area”, explains José Ferreira, country manager at VGP in Portugal, cited in a statement.
At the start of the project, 42% of VGP Park Montijo was already pre-leased and 18,000 square meters are still available for rent, in areas that can range from 5,000 square meters (minimum surface), up to the entire space available for larger solutions which have been customised for large operations. “The facilities provide high-quality conditions for logistics, storage, commercial activities and light industry services”, details the group in a statement.
