Portuguese golfer Ricardo Melo Gouveia assured that he was “very happy” to return to the DP World Tour, admitting, however, that the result in the Grand Final of the Challenge Tour was less than expected.
“This wasn’t the way I wanted to end the season in the Grand Final, but I’m very pleased to have my card back”, wrote the golfer on Instagram, after being ranked 33rd in the last Challenge race of the season.
The Portuguese Olympian, who has already played on the DP World Tour in 2022, affirmed that he was looking forward to “starting the season in South Africa in a few weeks”.
Today, at the Club de Golf Alcanada, on the Spanish island of Mallorca, Ricardo Melo Gouveia finished the Grand Final with a total of 297 strokes, 19 more than the winner, the Englishman Marco Penge.
