“In total, there will be four days of testing to be carried out at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, with the first two (February 10th and 11th) reserved for Moto3 riders and teams and the rest (February 12th and 13th) with Moto2 taking to the track”, reads the statement released by the Algarve circuit.

The AIA will host the penultimate race of the 2025 World ​​Championship season, whose main category is MotoGP, in which the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira (Yamaha) competes.

In 2025, there will be 26 riders who will compete full-time in the Moto3 world championship and a total of 30 who will be on the Moto2 starting grid.

The Portimão tests will be the first of two pre-season tests scheduled for the new year.

The championship starts at the end of February, in Thailand.
