This evolution represents a variation rate above the 12% recorded in October, translating into 19 euros more.

The data also reveals greater activity in granting credit, as 37,181 evaluations were carried out, 27.1% more than in the same period last year. Compared to the previous period, 2,276 more bank assessments were carried out, which corresponds to an increase of 6.5%.

By type, the median bank appraisal value for apartments was 1,944 euros/m2, 14.6% higher than November 2023, with the highest values ​​recorded in Greater Lisbon (2,569 euros/m2) and the Algarve (2,289 euros/m2, while the Alentejo presented the lowest value (1,276 euros/m2). The Autonomous Region of the Azores showed the most significant year-on-year growth (27.1%), and there was no drop.

Compared to the month of October, the valuation value increased by 1.3%, with the Autonomous Region of Madeira registering the biggest increase (3.8%), with a single decrease occurring in the Algarve (-0.1%).

With regard to housing, the median value of the bank assessment amounted to 1,320 euros/m2, which represents an increase of 10.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. According to INE, the highest values ​​were observed in Greater Lisbon (2,466 euros/m2) and the Algarve (2,423 euros/m2), with the Center and Alentejo recording the lowest values ​​(1,015 euros/m2 and 1,019 euros/m2, respectively).
