Elijah is the son of a Swiss mother and a British father, a couple who live in Figueira, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Weighing 2 kg and 160 grams, Elijah Dylan Waterfield was born in the Portimão hospital at 00:12 hours, on January 1, 2025, according to the News Now portal.

The mother, called Marina, is Swiss and is 39 years old, the same age as her father, Kirk, of British nationality.

Marina revealed that everything went well. It was "fantastic, very fast, natural". The boy's mother took the opportunity to thank Portimão Hospital and the doctor who attended the birth.

The couple lives in the small town of Figueira, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Elijah has an older sister, Zoya, two years old, who is very happy with the arrival of her brother.
