According to the accounts carried out by the Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection (Deco), between the 2nd and 9th of August, the cost of the zero VAT basket monitored by Deco increased by two euros (1.58%), now costing 128.34 euros compared to the 126.34 euros estimated during the previous week.
However, if the comparison is made with the day before the start of the measure, on April 17, the difference is significant: in the space of more than three months, this basket was 10.43 euros cheaper, which translates into a drop of 7.53%.
